A Cleveland, Tn., man has been arrested on several burglary charges.
Bradley County Sheriff Eric Watson said the charges against Robert Christopher Bishop, 33, stem from the burglaries of several residences and the thefts of items such as an Xbox 360, cash and a 60-inch television.
Detectives continue to recover items stolen in burglaries by Bishop, including the 60-inch television and a Verizon tablet computer, it was stated.
He has been charged by members of the Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigations Division with five counts of aggravated burglary, theft over $1,000, two counts of theft over $500 and two counts of theft under $500.
Detectives continue to make recoveries of stolen items from area pawn shops as well, officials said.
Sheriff Watson commended the activities of both the patrol and criminal investigations divisions. He said, “These two divisions have been involved a large number of recoveries of stolen items since Sept.
1. I am pleased and proud of the continuing effort all my officers and detectives put forth to solve these crimes and put burglars like Mr. Bishop in jail.”
