Dalton State Men's Tennis Is Number 13 In Final NAIA Poll

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2014-2015 Men’s Tennis Coaches Postseason Top 25 Poll on Wednesday and the Dalton State Roadrunners finished No. 13. 

Coach Zach Rogers’ 12-8 team played in the first ever season of postseason eligibility. Eventual national championship runner-up Embry-Riddle eliminated Dalton State in the second round of the tournament in Mobile.

The Roadrunners moved up from No.

15 in the previous poll.

Tournament Champions Georgia Gwinnett remained as No. 1. Embry-Riddle finished second. Vanguard (Calif.), Auburn Montgomery, and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) round out the top five.

Xavier (La.) is No. 6 followed by Northwestern Ohio, San Diego Christian, William Carey, Concordia (Calif.), Coastal Georgia and Northwood (Fla.). Bethany (Ks.) and Reinhardt followed DS in 14th and 15th
