May has been a tour of the highways across Northwest Georgia for the Georgia Northwestern Technical College Foundation. The largest college in the region has spent thousands this year on 29 graduates from high schools in nine different counties in its service area.
Georgia Northwestern Director of Institutional Advancement Jason Gamel says it’s all about rewarding deserving students with a real opportunity. “The foundation loves taking part in honoring the students of our area high schools,” said Mr. Gamel. “Giving in a way that will truly benefit the people and the hometowns of Northwest Georgia is quite an honor for us.”
The following scholarship recipients will be enrolling this fall at Georgia Northwestern as either an on-campus or online student. Georgia Northwestern offers five different campuses for students to attend. GNTC’s five sites are located in Floyd, Gordon, Polk, Walker and Whitfield counties.
The following students are receiving a $250 (maximum) scholarship from the GNTC Foundation for enrollment to Georgia Northwestern in the upcoming school year. The Georgia Northwestern Technical College Foundation helps fund academic and support programs at the college. From scholarships to program equipment, the Foundation helps raise money for various programs which helps make college a success for thousands of students every year.
