The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help staffing company Automation Personnel fill 60 jobs for companies with textile plants in Murray and Whitfield counties.
The recruitment will be held on Wednesday, May 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the GDOL’s Dalton Career Center, 1406 Chattanooga Ave.
The company is recruiting extrusion, roll-up, sew-on and tufting operators, along with creelers, fork lift and pole hyster drivers, and general warehouse workers.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a valid form of identification.

Salaries range from $8 to $13 an hour. The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
