CNE To Host Homeownership Fair On June 6 In Celebration of NeighborWorks Week

Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise is hosting a free homeownership fair open to the public on Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. The fair will consist of mini workshops covering topics such as budgeting, buying a home, and home maintenance. The Homeownership Fair is for both prospective and current homeowners.

The day will be broken up into two different sections: Buying a Home and Maintaining a Home. In addition, three local realtors will be on location to answer questions and disseminate information.
Lowe’s Home Improvement and The Home Depot will be outside providing information and demonstrations on a variety of topics. 

CNE will provide free lunch and children activities. Free credit report analysis and mortgage readiness assessments will be offered.

11 a.m.: Do Your Homebuying Homework with Karen Flores of Cornerstone Community Bank

Noon: What to Expect from Your Realtor with Jeremy Fitzsimmons of Keller Williams

1 p.m.: Understanding Your Credit Score with Chris Foster of Regions Bank

10 a.m.: Energy Savings Workshop with Empower Chattanooga

11 a.m.: Taking Care of Your Yard with Hamilton County Master Gardener Bev Fowler

Noon: Foreclosure Prevention Tips & Tricks with CNE

1 p.m.: Preparing a Basic Will with Martin Pierce from Pierce Law Firm

This event is in celebration of national NeighborWorks Week. During NeighborWorks Week, CNE and other NeighborWorks America organizations across the country will mobilize tens of thousands of residents, business people and government officials in a week of neighborhood change and awareness.
