New Citizens Welcomed At Federal Court Ceremony

Naturalization ceremonies were held this week at the Federal Courthouse for 97 persons representing 30 countries.

Judge Sandy Mattice presided.

As is customary, local DAR chapters welcomed the new citizens and held a reception afterwards.

Phyllis Carter, past Regent of Judge David Campbell chapter, gave the welcoming speech  while members of the Chief John Ross chapter served refreshments and handed out favors.
