Man Shot On Highway 58; Woman Charged

A man was shot at an address on Highway 58 on Saturday afternoon.

The victim was identified as 26-year-old Gregory Shane Hurt.

Police charged Kia Key, 24, with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.

At approximately 12:45 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 5102 Highway 58 on a possible person shot.

When officers arrived on the scene, a male was found suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported by Hamilton County EMS to a local hospital.

There is no suspect information available at this time.
