Charles Mowery
Charles Stanley Mowery, 69, of Hixson, died on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his residence.
Charles was a Viet Nam Veteran (Chapter 203) and was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. He was a member of Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle. Charles was a former employee of Appliance Factory Warehouse and General Appliance.
Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph Lee, Gerald, and Raymond Mowery and by his grandson, Conner Lane. Charles is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda; daughters, Angela (Jason) Lane and Sandra (Brian) Pyko; four grandchildren; brother, Larry (Glenda) Mowery; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, from 4–8 p.m. at North Chapel and again on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 1 p.m. with the Reverend David Stancil officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
