Woman Claims Boyfriend Knocked Her To The Floor, Raped Her

A woman told police that her boyfriend knocked her to the floor, then raped her.

Shalone Wingate, 36, of 1904 Garfield St., was arrested on a charge of aggravated rape.

In the incident on April 13, the woman said Wingate showed up at her house and questioned her about who she had just been talking to on the phone. She said he then hand slapped her and knocked down.

She said he sat on her back and held a knife he got from his pocket to her face.

The woman said Wingate told her he had better not let him catch her with somebody else.

She said she made up a story so he would get off her.

The woman said he asked for sex and, when she refused, he forced himself on her.

She said after he finished he offered to take her to class in her own vehicle that he keeps with him.

His bond was set at $150,000.
