Enough Is Enough On Taxes

  • Tuesday, May 26, 2015

Here we go again, RIck Smith, I'm making my presentation to local government now.  No new property taxes - enough is enough.

There, I said it, I have had enough of this tax this and tax that.  Try cutting where needed. Look from the top to the bottom and live within a given budget.  I do it every day and you should have to also.

I, for one, say stop putting your burdens on the homeowners. We are not the only ones who use the school system and other services in this city.

While I am against any tax increases, at least  a wheel tax would be a fairer way to generate extra revenue if needed since it will get everyone and not just the homeowner.  Commissioners, please take heed.  Stop picking the homeowners to pay the bills instead of everyone who lives in this city.  Let all pay their fair share.
