Dieshunn Lindsey, 29, Shot On S. Kelly Street Tuesday Evening

Dieshunn Lindsey, 29, was shot on S. Kelly Street Tuesday evening.

At approximately 7:37 p.m., Chattanooga Police Officers responded to the area of 400 S. Kelly to investigate shots fired. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate a victim of a shooting.

Shortly after the initial call, police were advised of a gunshot victim who had arrived at a local hospital via personal vehicle. 

Mr. Lindsey said he was waiting for a friend at 400 S. Kelly Street when a white sedan approached. He said he heard gun shots coming from the direction of the suspect vehicle when he noticed he had been shot. He was unable to provide any further suspect information. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423 698-2525. 

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
