Evelyn Collis
Evelyn Collis, 71, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.
She was retired from U. S. Stove, was of the Baptist faith and was a native of Marietta, Ga., and was friends to everyone that met her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chuck Collis, parents, Cleveland and Ruth L. Braswell and sisters, Gail Braswell and Edna Greene.
Survivors include her son, Patrick Wilson, Atlanta, beloved son-in-law, Mark Salmi, Atlanta, sister, Betty (Loyce) Johnson, Linda (Ricky) Pye and brother, Buddy (Terri) Braswell, two nieces, one nephew, several self-adopted children and grandchildren as well as a host of friends.
The family would like to thank her beloved neighbors, James and Reba Whited and Little Jacob, cherished friends, Hazel Clowers, James Lanier, Barbara and Pop Hood, Theresa and Bob Usury, Wanda Presswood, Linda Combs, Gerald and Tara Burns, Melanie Molton, Vickie Clarke and Sheri Handley.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 1, at 1 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 31, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
