Whitwell High School volleyball player, Kennedy Blair was the runner-up and will also receive some scholarship money.  She plans to attend Lee University next year.  Both Blair and Smith excelled not only in their sports but in the leadership and service they provided to the FCA huddles and the teams they represented.

Also announced at the banquet were several other awards that the FCA presents annually including the Gerry Stephens Influence Award which was presented to Gary and Marseata Lockhart who have been volunteers and board leaders for many years.  The Legacy Builder Coaches Award went to FCA huddle coach Sarah Spencer from Red Bank High School.  The Jim Sattler Leadership Award was presented to Richard Hardy Girls Basketball Coach, Kelby Ferrell.  Covenant Presbyterian Church received the FCA Church Partner of the Year Award.
