Former McCallie and UTC quarterback B.J. Coleman has left the Arizona Rattlers for an opportunity outside football, the Arizona Republic reported.

The move came just after Coleman was voted AFL MVP for Week 7 of the 2015 Arena Football League season.

Coleman, former backup quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, passed for 160 yards and four touchdowns, including three in the second half of Arizona's 47-39 victory over the New Orleans VooDoo in Week 7.

Coleman tossed seven touchdown passes in two starts in his inaugural year in Arena Football.
