Tiffney Necole Arp, 38, Kills Herself While She And Husband Discuss Divorce Outside Dalton 911 Center

Tifiney Necole Arp, 38, of Chatsworth, killed herself on Sunday morning while talking to her husband, Jeffrey Russell Arp, 35, also of Chatsworth.

The Dalton Police Department is investigating a suicide that occurred in the parking lot of the Whitfield County 911 Center at 804 Professional Boulevard in Dalton.

The incident did not interrupt 911 service to Whitfield County.
 
The initial investigation indicated that the Ms.
Arp, the estranged wife of one of the 911 dispatchers, Mr. Arp, arrived at the center this Sunday morning to discuss their impending divorce. The pair was talking in the parking lot of the center.
 
While still seated in the driver's side of her pickup truck in the parking lot, at approximately 10:40 a.m. she reached for a handgun and put it to her head and fired. EMS responded but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
