I attended the Republican Party Statesmen's Dinner in Nashville on Saturday.
Jeb Bush was the keynote speaker. Hearing him speak on the issues, I was again reminded of the good, decent person he is and the goodness of his extended family.
I have served at various times on protection details for his mother and father, his brother, Jeb and his son, George P. Even behind the scenes, I found the entire family to be solid, decent, loving, compassionate, strong, smart and resilient. The family has a great love for public service and the country. I admire this in them.
Jeb Bush will make a very good president and I am confident the country will be in good hands, if he is elected.
Plus, he's not afraid to stand up and support the Patriot Act to properly protect and defend our national security. It takes political courage to stand up and do the right thing, especially when some vocal, but very misinformed candidates in our own party, prefer to risk innocent lives and endanger the nation by letting the Patriot Act expire.

Mr. Gobble males a few good statements about Jeb Bush. However, does he also stand behind Mr. Bush's bigotry when it comes to gay rights and gay marriage?
Can we, as a country, rightly elect a possible candidate that does not believe in equal rights for all citizens? Look to the equality that just passed in Ireland and the amazing changes there. How can we still permit people as closed-minded as Mr. Bush to gain positions of power?
I would never vote for anyone that treats any minority as nonexistent or less valuable in what is supposed to be the greatest country on the planet.

I am sure Mr. Bush is a good man. my worry is what country will he invade? Iran maybe?
His dad got us in a war, his brother got us in a war and I bet Vegas will probably makes odds about when he will go to war and with whom.
