Jill Reynolds, executive secretary for Life Care Centers of America’s Operations department, was named Administrative Professional of the Year.

“Jill does a tremendous job,” said Bart Walker, senior vice president of operations and Ms. Reynolds’ supervisor. “She is truly the glue that holds us all together.”

Ms. Reynolds has served Life Care for more than six years. She was praised for her ability to anticipate and provide for needs, as well as her organizational skills, creativity and dedication. Part of her responsibilities entail planning team-building activities for the company’s Annual Management Meeting, attended by more than 250 associates from around the country.

“I take the work that I do very seriously,” said Ms. Reynolds, who shared that her parents instilled a strong work ethic in her. “I love what we do, and I love what we stand for.”

Ms. Reynolds received a dozen roses, a tiara and a day pass to Bliss Spa during the presentation.

“Life Care is blessed with exceptional administrative professionals who daily demonstrate their professional skills, their organizational abilities and their warm and engaging personalities,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “They are also people who have dedicated themselves to the mission of serving those entrusted to us. We are grateful for their work and their loyalty, and Jill embodies both of these qualities marvelously.”

The ceremony was part of a breakfast honoring all of Life Care’s corporate administrative professionals. Donna Tyson, an author, missionary and motivational speaker, also presented at the event, sharing her personal story of finding faith in her battle with cancer.
