The Nightfall Concert Series continues Friday with the tunes of headliner the Dusty 45s, preceded by local opener Joey Winslett Band.

Presented and produced by Chattanooga Presents, Nightfall is a 19-week free outdoor concert series held every Friday at Miller Plaza and features headline performances by a broad spectrum of music performed by national and international artists.

Review for the Dusty 45s:

The Dusty 45s have thrilled crowds for over a decade, with the readers of the Seattle Weekly voting them “Best of Seattle” three years in a row. Singer/songwriter and front man Billy Joe Huels leads the band with an engaging stage presence, a rippin’ guitar, and a trumpet, which literally ends up on fire by the end of the show. Delivering styles that range from twang country, jump blues, surf and rock and roll, the Dusty 45s are Seattle’s finest roots-rock wrecking crew, consisting of Jerry Battista on lead guitar, Kelly Van Camp on drums, Robin Cady on upright bass, and Arthur Migliazza on the keys.

With a deep discography, thousands of miles on the tour van odometer, and a committed fan base, the Dusty 45s are a professional, talented band with a creative fire that burns bright.

Review for the Joey Winslett Band:

The Chattanooga bred Joey Winslett Band will open the Nightfall show at 7 p.m. Although their style is primarily influenced by rock n roll and blues, the Joey Winslett Band is a group that is hard to slap a genre on. Together, they create a style of music that is energetic and gets the party going for an ideal summer evening. Joey Winslett (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica) is a musician from Soddy Daisy that has played the Chattanooga area since the age of 15. He joins Dunlap natives Richard King (bass) Micheal Bonner (lead guitar) and Jasper TN's Justin McNeese (drums). They were founded in 2013 and continue to play live music throughout Tennessee.

Nightfall discount beverage cards, will offer a 20 percent savings on drink purchases. The cards will be worth $100, but cost $80 to purchase. The Nightfall discount cards will be offered at each show at the Nightfall merchandise table next to the pavilion and in the beverage lines. Food trucks and non-alcoholic drink concessions are also available on site. No outside food or beverages are allowed to be brought in to Nightfall.
