Dorris Marie Chumbler Kilgore, 91, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died on Monday, May 4, 2015.
The daughter of the late Ray H. and Bonnie English Chumbler, she was a member of Kimball Baptist Church for over 38 years and was a former employee of South Pittsburg Municipal Hospital and Rivermont Nursing Home. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Velton “Red” Kilgore and son, John David Kilgore.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie L. Keen of South Pittsburg, Robert Kilgore of Memphis, Mi., Dennis Kilgore of Emmett, Mi., Douglas Kilgore of Clarkston, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Central time on Thursday, May 7, with Reverend Norman Payne and Reverend Ronnie Case officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, May 6, at the funeral home.
