Sharen Mueller Shields, 56, Ringgold, died on May 1, 2015, from injuries sustained in a car wreck.
She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and member of Grace Church in Ringgold. Sharen was employed by TVA for the last 35 years serving in the purchasing and transportation departments. More than anything, Nena loved her family and home and valued all her friends. She touched everyone around her in a positive way. Sharen was also a huge animal lover.
Sharen was preceded in death by her mother, Pat “Granny Pat” Mueller and grandparents, George and Jewell Mueller and Robert and Louise Stanford.
Survivors are her husband of 35 years, Mike Shields; sons, Matthew and William “Will” Shields; grandsons, Cash and Stanford “Ford” Shields; father, Bill Mueller; twin sister and brother-in-law, Karen Mueller Sims and Lee Sims, sister, Kim Mueller, special nieces and nephews, Natalie, other daughter, (Billy) Atwell, Phillip (Missy Robinson) Teems; and great-nieces and nephews, Edy and Sophie and Johnathan and Elon.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 8, at Grace Church in Ringgold, with Reverend Steve Sullivan officiating.
