The grand opening for The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Chattanooga is Thursday, from 4-7 p.m. at 7620 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga.
There will be 4:30 p.m. program: An Exclusive Evening with Alzheimer’s Experts, Caregivers, and Families. Featured guests will be Matthew Kodsi, M.D., Ph.D., Adult Neurology, Dementia & Memory Disorders, Chattanooga Neurology Associates; Carla Guthrie, Lantern Program specialist, Morning Pointe Senior Living; Cindy Lowery, senior vice president, Alzheimer’s Association, Mid South Chapter.
The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Chattanooga is a specialized community for persons living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory loss.
Unique to Morning Pointe, this Lantern offers two types of programming based on need.
The Lamplight Program is specially designed for residents in the early to moderate stages of Alzheimer’s disease. It offers a large, expansive environment that is secure and safe.
The Lantern Program is geared towards residents in the late to moderately severe stages
of Alzheimer’s disease. It offers a smaller, more intimate environment.
