The Bradley County School Board will hold a special meeting on Monday to discuss appointment of a new school director as well as hear presentations on a new Lake Forest Middle School.
The session will be held at noon at the Central Office.
Scott Humberd has been serving as interim school director since a majority of the board parted ways with Johnny McDaniel.
Architects making presentations on Lake Forest are The Lewis Group, Cope Architects and TWH, of Chattanooga.
School officials have long cited a need to replace Lake Forest, which was constructed with a number of small buildings and has been plagued by various problems.
The County Commission on Monday night voted down a wheel tax that would have built a Lake Forest replacement with part of the proceeds.
The Bradley County School Board on Tuesday night approved a $60.9 million budget.
