Chattanooga Police Officers To Participate in 250+ Mile Annual Memorial Bicycle Ride To Honor Fallen Heroes

A group of Chattanooga Police officers will be leaving Chattanooga on Friday and driving to Chesapeake, Va., to participate in the Law Enforcement United’s Annual Memorial Bicycle Ride. The ride will begin in Chesapeake, and end in Washington, DC.

The route is 250+ miles long and law enforcement officers, and survivors nationwide will make the journey pedaling to honor the service and sacrifice of their law enforcement colleagues and family members who have died in the line of duty.    

Team Chattanooga is Retired Cpt. Jeannie Snyder, Lt. Tammy Cook, Sgt. Heather Williams, Sgt. Justin Kilgore, Officer John Tolson, Officer James Russ, Officer Sheila Jetton, Officer Curtis Roth and Officer Caleb Brooks.

Officers will be meeting at the Police Service Center (Amnicola) at 7 a.m. to depart on their journey.
