Salsarita’s To Open At Northgate Mall This Fall

CBL officials announced Thursday that Salsarita’s has signed a lease for 2,730 square feet of space next to Old Chicago Pizza at Northgate Mall.   

“We feel there is a lot of energy being created around Northgate Mall with the recent renovations and new additions to the outparcels, as well as the addition of several popular tenants,” said Joey Gaspard, Salsarita’s operating partner. 

The new restaurant will have seating for 86 inside and on a patio and will feature Salsarita’s new prototype which includes new colors and layout. Patrons can still enjoy the open kitchen format along with traditional salsa music and the same great menu found at other locations. Salsarita’s expect to employ up to 20 people in various capacities once they are up and running. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Salsarita’s to the Hixson community,” said Steve Banks, general manager for Northgate Mall. “We have been diligently working to bring more dining options to the mall and Salsarita’s fast casual Mexican brand is a perfect fit.”

A Jury For 2nd Time Convicts Randall Reed Of Murdering 70-Year-Old Woman In 2011

A jury for the second time has convicted Randall Reed of first-degree murder in the 2011 death of 70-year-old Jane Stokes in East Ridge.
