Hundreds of walkers enjoy the beauty of the scenic Riverwalk during a previous Walk4Hearing event
Chattanooga’s seventh annual Walk4Hearing will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. on the main campus of Chattanooga State Community College and adjoining Riverwalk. Bottled water donated by Coca-Cola will be provided to walkers at Fry Pavilion, the halfway point of the 5K Walk.
A Zumba warm up by local instructor Heidi Cawood has been added to the activities. Members of the Brainerd Key Club and students from Richard Hardy and South Pittsburg Interact Clubs will join her on stage.

9-11:30: Magic by Jerry White, kids area
9-12: Face Painting by Brighten It Up, bounce house and games, kids area
9-12: Free food provided by HLAA & ESA members, OMN building facing Amphitheater stage
At 10 a.m., following introductions of local sponsors, teams, and the Walk committee, Wanda Threat, winner of the Registration Challenge will be awarded her $100 Target Gift Card.
The names of walkers who have raised $500 and earned a Walk4Hearing backpack also will be announced.
National sponsor representatives from MED EL, CapTel and hiHealthinnovations will address the crowd just before Glenn Bird of Zounds Hearing announces the name of the top individual walker and presents a certificate for a pair of free pair of hearing aids to the winner. Next, Beltone South president Perry Ebel will draw the winning name from the pool of walkers who have raised $500 or more and present a certificate for a pair of hearing aids to that winner. Walkers have raised more than $21,000 toward the $30,000 goal. There is still plenty of time to make donations online at www.walk4hearing.org, by mail to PO Box 25254, Chattanooga, Tenn. 37422, or in person at Hair & Colour Company in Hixson.
