Steven Thompson
FirstBank has announced Steven Thompson has become the commercial relationship manager and vice president in Chattanooga. In this position, he will be handling commercial real estate and residential construction financing for the Chattanooga MSA.
Along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lee University, Mr. Thompson has over 10 years of experience in finance. He began his career as a credit underwriter and transitioned to a portfolio manager. Based in Chattanooga, his last two years were spent covering middle market commercial real estate throughout the Southeast.
"Steven is a very talented real estate professional with experience in various types of investor commercial real estate financing," said Chattanooga City President Jim McKenzie. "I am excited about the value he will bring to our clients with their real estate financing needs."
Active in the community, Mr. Thompson is dedicated to his church, First Baptist Church Cleveland. He and his family also regularly support People for Care and Learning, Cure International, and Campus Crusade for Christ. Mr. Thompson resides in Cleveland with his wife and children.
