Former Enzo's Market On Main Street Sold To 3 Local Investors

  • Thursday, June 11, 2015

A group of local investors has acquired the former Enzo's Market on Main Street.

Kevin Boehm said he and two partners in BYD Long, GP, acquired the property that is behind Battle Academy near the corner of Main and Market.

The sale was for $1.3 million.

Mr. Boehm, who is a real estate broker with John Jewell with offices in the James Building, said the former grocery is available for lease.

He said, "A lot of people were interested in this property, and we felt fortunate to be able to buy it."

Enzo's was the first grocery on the Southside in decades.

However, it closed June 7 of last year.

It then changed its name and its focus as the Grocery Bar under executive chef Daniel Lindley. However, the Grocery Bar closed near the end of the year.
