East Ridge City Manager Gets Job At Neptune Beach, Fla.

Andrew Hyatt, East Ridge city manager since October 2013, on Thursday night was selected as the city manager for Neptune Beach, Fla.

He had been among the finalists to replace Jim Jarboe, who is retiring after 11 years.

Mr. Hyatt previously lived in Jacksonville, Fla., and his wife is from Florida.

Each of the finalists made a short presentation, then there was a secret ballot, according to the Island Times.

Mr. Hyatt did not get a super majority on the first ballot, but later emerged as the winner.
