Kendall Electric And Rockwell Automation Co-Hosting Industrial Automation Networking And Training Event

  • Thursday, June 18, 2015

Kendall Electric and Rockwell Automation will co-host Rockwell Automation on the Move at the Chattanooga Convention Center on Wednesday and Thursday.

The event focuses on the latest trends in manufacturing, the latest developments in industrial control technology, and the latest in the Rockwell Automation suite of products and services. Reflecting the transformation that is taking place across the industrial world as more organizations seek to improve connectivity, empower better collaboration and capture more actionable data across their operations, this year’s theme is focused on “The Connected Enterprise”.

Regional manufacturers have registered about 500 technicians, electricians, industrial control experts, and electrical engineers to participate in the training and networking opportunities. In conjunction with the open show about 50 regional Environmental, Health, and Safety experts are attending the Safety Road Show on Tuesday to learn how to establish a formalized risk management strategy to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks.

A student educational and networking event will also be held on Tuesday to give (18 year and older) students the chance to learn about careers with Rockwell Automation and partner companies in the industrial control and factory automation industry.

Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger will be touring the show floor on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

Rockwell Automation on the Move is a training and networking opportunity for local manufacturers and machine builders. The event comprises an open show floor housing 17,000 square feet of exhibits from over 50 industrial control and factory automation vendors. Alongside the show floor will be parallel hands-on, presentation, and demonstration sessions covering the latest trends in industrial automation technology and products for manufacturers.
