Senator Bob Corker issued the following statement Thursday after voting for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA):

“Our men and women in uniform are always willing to answer the call of duty to protect and defend U.S. interests at home and abroad, and this authorization bill is an important step in the process of funding our nation’s priorities,” said Senator Corker. “As Congress works on its annual spending bills in the weeks ahead, far more needs to be done to address our ongoing fiscal problems to ensure we are living within the budget realities we face and being honest with the American people about how their taxpayer dollars are being spent."
