Ongoing

Jonesborough – Main Street Brews and Tunes is underway 3-5 p.m. each Sunday now through September featuring regional brews and music ranging from Americana to folk in downtown Jonesborough.

Hornbeak – Take a scenic pontoon boat tour with experienced naturalists to learn more about the wonders of the natural Reelfoot Lake 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m.3 p.m., and 6 p.m. through the end of September at Reelfoot Lake State Park.

Nashville – Experience Jaume Plensa’s Human Landscape under the stars until 10 p.m. through July at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art.

Memphis – See some of nature’s deadliest plants without the risk of dismemberment, intoxication or addiction in Wicked Plants now through Sept. 7 at the Pink Palace Family of Museums.

June 19

Crossville – Attend the concert tribute to the pioneers who built the foundation for the Cumberland County Playhouse as they celebrate 50 years 7 p.m. at the Cumberland County Playhouse. The event is free and open to the public.

June 20

Brownsville – The summer concert series Concert on the Porch begins with The Gospel Stars and His Voice 7 p.m. on the porch of the Sleepy John Estes home at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center.

Nashville – Celebrate dad during the Nashville Predators Father’s Day Lunch & Open House 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bridgestone Arena.

Memphis – Commemorate the 150th anniversary of Juneteenth, when the United States officially abolished slavery and freed enslaved Africans, with a photographic exhibition, tours, African music, storytellers and more 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Slave Haven Underground Railroad Museum.

June 21

Chattanooga – Enjoy bacon, blues music and brews to celebrate dad beginning 12:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga Market.

McMinnville – Celebrate International Day of Yoga with five-mile guided tours of hiking and biking, music, food, yoga sessions and more at the Isha Institute of Inner-Sciences, an internationally recognized yoga and meditation center established by Sadhguru, a realized yogi and mystic.

June 22-26

Memphis – Savor flavors from India, Japan, Mexico, Africa, and China during Exploration Station summer camp at The Children’s Museum of Memphis.

June 23

Gatlinburg – Participate in an easy to moderate hike along Porters Creek with a ranger to explore a log cabin, wildflowers, and waterfalls 10:30 a.m. to Fern Branch Falls.

June 23-27

Knoxville – Celebrate 50 years of the 1965 Corvair with driving events, car displays, autocross and more during the International Corvair Convention at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.

June 25

Memphis – “As if!” Enjoy the classic 90’s movie Clueless as part of the 2015 Summer Movie Series 7 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre.

Nashville – Nashville Public Library Puppet Truck will present The Little Rabbit Who Wanted Red Wings during the Family Night Out summer series 6:30 p.m. at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art.

June 25-27

Lynchburg – From carnival rides to rodeos, a petting zoo and more, attend Frontier Days in downtown Lynchburg.

June 25-28

Knoxville – Celebrate African culture through music, food, dance, and more at the Kuumba Festival in downtown Knoxville.

Collierville – Time to watch everyone’s favorite muppets in Muppets Most Wanted during an outdoor movie night at Carriage Crossing.

Nashville – Frist Friday Summer Concert Series kicks off with Al Piper Green & The Hard Times 6-9 p.m. in the Turner Courtyard of the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

Jackson – Enjoy music from Reverend Jessie & the Holy Smokes as part of the AMP Free Concert Series 7 p.m. at The Amp.

June 26-27

Maryville – Hops in the Hills will welcome several local and regional craft breweries to pour award-winning ales and lagers for attendees, seminars, and more in downtown Maryville.

Union City – Enjoy a free Dixie Mill concert during the Summer Burn Car and Bike Show on the grounds of the Discovery Park of America.

June 26-July 12

Jonesborough – The 1940s USO Show will showcase some of the songs from the era at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre.

June 27

Savannah – Celebrate the Catfish Capitol of the World at the inaugural Catfish and Comedy Festival that will feature up-and-coming comedians and mouth-watering catfish at the Wayne Jerrolds River Park Stage.

Alcoa – Hands-on activities will occur all day during the Alcoa Freedom Fest before fireworks 6-9 p.m. at sundown at the Alcoa Duck Pond.

Lobelville – Enjoy music from Outlaw Country during the free Music on Main Street series 7:30 p.m. at the Lobelville City Hall Grounds.

McMinnville – See Ben Sollee, a Kentucky cellist, and Woody Pines of the Woody Pines band as they perform at Bluegrass Underground 1 p.m. in the Volcano Room at Cumberland Caverns.

June 27-28

Jonesborough – Vintage radio lovers will enjoy the W9DYV Vintage Radio HAM Fest which will include demonstrations, seminars and a swap meet 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Storybrook Farm. 

June 27-July 4

Dyer County – A patriotic cantata, candlelight memorial service, street dances, inflatables for kids, arts and crafts, shopping and fireworks are all part of the 31st annual Fourth of July Dyer Station Celebration in downtown Dyer.

June 28

Nashville – Barbecue and beer will be abundant during the BBQ + Brew summer event noon to 3 p.m. at Historic Travellers Rest.

Nashville – See a mandolin demonstration by Mike Compton 1 p.m. at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Bristol – Enjoy a Family Fun Day filled with music activities, stories, songs, and more 2 p.m. at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. The event is free and open to the public.

Franklin – The annual Sunset Concert Series will start with Journey Tribute Band, Resurrection, 6-8 p.m. at Carnton Plantation.

June 29

Nashville – Play a few holes to raise funds for the Nashville Zoo during the Nashville Zoo Golf Classic. Entry fees include green fees, caddy for the afternoon, lunch, drinks on the course, contests and award reception at the Golf Club of Tennessee.

July 2

Nashville – The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will perform for audiences 6 p.m. at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

July 3

Pigeon Forge – Hear music from Shenandoah featuring Marty Raybon as part of the 2015 Celebrity Concert Series at Country Tonite Theatre.
