No Religion Is Flawless

  • Tuesday, June 2, 2015

I don't recall any mentioning or denouncing the local budding potential terrorist who had plans to "kill'em all" and wreak havoc on a small Muslim community in New York. It's scary to think he once made a bid to become a member of Congress.

And not to mention all the other budding potential militia groups that have made similar threats to Muslims, blacks, Jews, Latinos and other ethnic or racial minority groups. Some who have actually acted on and carried out those threats around the nation. They called themselves "Christians" too.

According to my daily news Tennessee's own budding little "terrorists" excerpt: "He planned to kill — using an assault rifle, explosives and even a machete — anyone who stood in his way," the document says.  "We shall be Warriors who will inflict horrible numbers of casualties upon the enemies of our Nation and World Peace.”

In fact, many similar threats have been downplayed by the media when the groups making the threats claim to be "Christian."

But one person, during a protest, has a meltdown and says some obviously stupid stuff, and it becomes worthy of an opinion, because.......?

By the age of eight I came realize in the wrong hands any religion had the potential to be misused as a source to carry out evil acts. No religion is flawless. Neither is any religion without the potential to commit great harm in the wrong hands.
