The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Collegedale will be hosting a car wash on June 28 and 29, from 12-3 p.m. behind the Walgreens at 9307 Lee Highway.
Officials said, "Drop by for a good cleaning and help support the Alzheimer’s Association. Any monetary donation will be accepted.
If one prefers, they may also be a sponsor. Officials said, "Choose a dollar amount that you are willing to donate for each car that comes through the line. We will keep a car count and multiply the amount of your contribution for your donation total." This money will need to be submitted by July 3. Or keep it simple and just donate anything."
Checks should be made payable to the Alzheimer’s Association.
