Equality Finally - And Response (3)

  • Friday, June 26, 2015

There really are no words in the English language or any other language on the planet, for that matter, that can fully express or even begin to describe what the Supreme Court's ruling means today.  Finally, in the greatest country in the world, all of its citizens  are now equal under the correct interpretation of the Constitution.

All minority groups, no matter what that minority is, now have the right to everything that this country stands for, offers, and guarantees: equal and fair treatment.  Gay marriage is not a special right nor is it anything simpler than equal rights for all.

Gay marriage has never and will never be a threat to the sanctity of any heterosexual marriage nor is it a threat to children.

We more than applaud our Supreme Court Justices for making the right decision. This has nothing to do with anyone's religion, beliefs, or personal feelings. The law is the law.

This is validation that love does not know of any or is limited to any bounds. Race, sex, etc.: everyone everywhere can finally, and rightfully so, truly be on equal footing in this great country of ours for the first time in its history.

We have cried with joy and celebrated today.  However, the party is just beginning.  Bring on the showers, weddings and honeymoons cause it's finally on.

The one that "matters" spoke long ago what an abomination it is and always will be.

Mr. Burns,

Five of nine folks said that all men are created equal, just as the Constriction says. Do you eat bacon or ham? That is also a abomination.

If you think that it is a sin for a man to love another man or a woman to love another woman there is a simple way for you to avoid this. Just don't marry someone of the same sex as yourself; then you will not have to worry about the "Judge who stands at the door."

As I see things, it is  your job to live a life that will open that door for you.  And it is not your job to get me or others thru that door. A feat that is impossible for you to do

"Bring on the showers, weddings and honeymoons cause it's finally on."  And bring on the nasty divorces as well.  Enjoy.
