Several Street Closures Scheduled During Riverbend

The setup closure for Riverbend will continue through Monday June 15 at 3:30 p.m: Riverfront Parkway closed from Aquarium Way to Molly Lane, the southbound off-ramp from Veterans Bridge is closed, Power Alley from Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway, and Chestnut Street from Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway is closed.  

The daily event closures from 3:30 p.m. to midnight will begin Friday, June 5 and will continue until Saturday, June 13.   All above closures with the addition of Aquarium Way from Walnut Street to Riverfront Parkway, Lookout Street from 3rd  Street to Riverfront Parkway, and Riverfront Parkway from Lindsay Street to Molly Lane.  

The US27 off-ramps to 4th Street will be closed each night of Riverbend (June 5 – June 13) from 10 p.m. until midnight to help route traffic out of the event area.  Only emergency vehicles will be allowed off of US 27 to 4th Street. Detours will be posted.  Please abide by all posted signs and closures.  

On Monday, June 8: ML King Boulevard from Georgia Avenue to Peeples Street will be closed from 11 a.m. until 11:45 p.m. for the Bessie Smith Strut.
