Ricky J. McClure, 57, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in a local hospital.
Ricky was born in Chattanooga on August 17, 1957 to the late Searl Arthel McClure and Emma Bowman McClure. He was of the Church of God faith. Ricky was a union pipe fitter, owner of A-Z Home Improvement Company and a well known carpenter in this area. Ricky aka "Ratchet" was a very loved man who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed riding his motorcycles.
Ricky is survived by three sons, R.J. McClure (April), Casey McClure and Niles Swartout (Amika); one daughter, Nichole McClure; one sister, Karen McClure; two brothers, Billy McClure (Abby) and Mickey McClure (Wilma); eight grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Thursday, July 2 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN with eulogist Sharon Coffey officiating. Interment will follow in the McInturff Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 1 at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday, July 2.
