Weekend Street Closures

Here are the special event weekend road closures.     

Friday, July 3:  Nightfall will take place from 5-11 p.m.  This week’s event has extended street closures and will close at 5 p.m.  Please read below for full closure.  Market Street from 10th Street to 8th Street will be closed; Martin Luther King Boulevard from Broad Street to Houston Street will be closed; Cherry Street from ML King to 8th Street; Georgia Avenue from 10th Street to Patten Parkway and Lindsay Street from Patten Parkway to ML King.  Detours will be posted.  Please visit http://www.nightfallchattanooga.com/ for more information and the music lineup.  

Saturday, July 4:  Pops on the River will take place.  Beginning at 8 a.m., River Street will be closed within Coolidge and Renaissance Parks.  Through traffic is only west of Tremont Street on River Street.  Streets should re-open at approximately 11 p.m.  For more information, please visit http://www.chattanoogapresents.com/upcoming-events/2015/7/3/pops-on-the-river 

Sunday, July 5: Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the skate park to 19th Street for the Chattanooga Market.  Closure will be from 6 a.m.-8 p.m.  For more information, please visit http://chattanoogamarket.com/
