3 Vehicles And 2 Pedestrians Involved In Traffic Crash On Cummings Highway

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded on Friday at approximately 6:30 p.m. to the 2100 block of Cummings Highway to a traffic crash involving three motor vehicles and two pedestrians.

Upon arriving, HCSO Traffic Investigator Adam Patton found that a 2008 Chevrolet pickup truck, while proceeding up the mountain, had passed a U-Haul box truck on the right side of the road at which time it crashed into two parked vehicles also on the right side of the road.

Two people who were trying to fix a flat tire were hurt. Both pedestrians sustained leg injuries and were transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
