Tennessee Oncology announced the arrival of Dr. Gregory Sutton, a medical oncologist who cares for patients at Tennessee Oncology Chattanooga’s Medical Park II location at 2200 East Third St. in Suite 100.

“Dr. Sutton is a great addition to our growing network of physicians committed to caring for cancer patients within their community and close to their home,” said Dr. Edward Arrowsmith, Tennessee Oncology’s East Tennessee Managing Partner.  “His past experiences have well-prepared him to serve our patients in Chattanooga.”

Previously, Dr. Sutton cared for cancer patients at The West Clinic and Boston Baskin Cancer Foundation, both in Memphis.  He completed a fellowship in The West Clinic/University of Tennessee hematology and oncology program in Memphis.  He also completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Sutton received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee.

“I am honored to provide care in Chattanooga and look forward to working in the community in the coming years,” said Sutton.  “Any disease can seem like a roller coaster, where one moment patients feel fine but the next they are not.  I have found breaking down each element of the disease helps patients understand the situation and achieve their goals and priorities.”
