Hale, Billy Frank

Billy Frank Hale, 94, died peacefully on June 30, 2015, in Huntsville, Alabama. 

He was a devoted, loving husband of his sweetheart wife, Irene, for 68 years.

Billy was a World War II veteran having served in the Navy, working on JRM MARS aircraft. He later worked at DuPont as an electrician.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; his daughter, Belinda Aycock (Jim); grandchildren, Amy Thomas (Scott) and Billy Aycock (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, James Hale Thomas and Katherine Thomas; nieces: Martha Plummer Partain (Alex), Judith Hale Fortenbery and Charlynn Clayton.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Reverend Bruce Galyon officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Last Supper Mausoleum. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Red Bank United Methodist Church, 3800 Dayton Blvd, Red Bank, Tn. 37415.   

Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
