David “Duck” Duckworth, 68, of Whitwell, Tennessee, died at his home on Friday, July 10, 2015.
He was retired from the Public Defender’s Office, 12th Judicial District. Previously he had worked for the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office. He served this country the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Duckworth.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Judd; daughter, Monica (Leslie) York, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; son, Patrick (Tonya) Duckworth, Trenton, GA; granddaughter, Lacey Carroll, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; and brother, Raymond (Carol) Duckworth, Lexington, KY.
The family will receive friends from 2-7 p.m. CDT, Sunday, July 12, in the funeral home chapel.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. CDT, Monday, July 13.
