July is Youth Month at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 E. Third St. The youth will kick off their celebration with a Re-Dedication Service this Sunday at 6 p.m. Kadarius Scott of Second will be the inspirational speaker.
On Saturday, July 18 the youth will host a “Youth Carnivale and Fish Fry” from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. featuring games, inflatables and concessions. Everyone is invited to attend.
The 70th Annual Youth Day Service on Sunday, July 26, will be led by the youth of Second with the new pastor, Rev. Dr. Reid, Jr. delivering the morning message. A special youth choir and guests will render the music. All youth of the city along with their family and friends are invited to attend all of the services and activities in support of this month-long celebration using the theme, "Youth Spreading the Gospel."
