Home Education Expo At Camp Jordan Arena This Weekend

  • Wednesday, July 15, 2015

The 33rd annual Home Education Expo will be held at camp Jordan Arena in East Ridge on Friday from 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  There will be information and resources for homeschool and educational enrichment from over 80 exhibitors from around the country offering games, toys, music, art supplies, DVDs, science equipment, and books.  Home educators share their secrets of how education can become part of your family’s lifestyle.

In addition there will be 60 workshops on topics such as teaching special needs to college prep. Experts from all over the country will be on hand to help in the selection of products that fit your child's needs and interests.

"The expo is the perfect place for parents and grandparents to do their Christmas and birthday shopping for affordable and wholesome gifts not usually available in stores. Last year more than 1,100 families found just the right resources at the expo," officials said.

Cost for 2-day admission is $8 per non-member family and $4 for members. For more information visit csthea.org.
