A man was stabbed early Thursday morning.

At approximately 7:03 a.m, the Chattanooga Police Department responded to 7255 Lee Highway on a stabbing.

The victim, a Hispanic male, arrived at a local hospital shortly after the initial call with a non-life threatening stab wound.

Due to a language barrier, it is unclear at this time how the victim was stabbed or where the incident actually occurred. Officers and interpreters are working to determine the facts surrounding the incident.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
