GDOL To Help Oriental Weavers Hire Manufacturing Workers In Dalton

The Georgia Department of Labor will help rug manufacturer Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. hire about 15 manufacturing workers for its plant in Dalton.

The recruitment will be held Friday, July 24, from 9-11:30 a.m. at the GDOL’s Dalton Career Center located at 1406 Chattanooga Ave. 

The company is hiring weavers, creelers, loom oilers, cleaners and general laborers, along with operators for warpers, heat sets and lift trucks. 

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests on selected applicants. 

Salaries depend on the type of job and work experience.
