Larry West
Larry T. West, 54, of Flintstone, Georgia, died on June 30, 2015.
He was a member of Valley Memorial Baptist Church. He was a loving servant of the Lord and was a living testimony of God’s love and light. He enjoyed his family and grandchildren, old cars, music and teaching Sunday school. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and papa. He loved the Lord, his church, fellowship with family and friends, and pot luck dinners.
He was employed at Concrete Pump Partners, and a former employer of Nichols Concrete Pumping, Mid South Equipment and various businesses in the construction industry. He was a former concrete finisher and came from a long line of construction workers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hershal West, Sr.
Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa Rogers; daughter, Megan (Aaron) Barnes; sons, Tyler (Ashley) West and Kyle West; mother, Ruth West, siblings, Hershal (Ronnie) West, Jr., Kay (Dan) Cooke, Randall (Terry) West, Ron (Karen) West, Jan (Frank) Smith, Dale West; several nieces and nephews. He was the beloved papa of Luke, Zachary, Elizabeth and Briley.

Join family and friends in a celebration of Larry’s love of the Lord, life, family and friends, at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at Valley Memorial Baptist Church, at 614 Brown’s Ferry Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37419, with Pastor Horace Crawford and Brother Buddy Woody officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
