A 60-year-old Madisonville, Tn., has been arrested at the Lee Highway memorial site and charged with disorderly conduct and inciting a riot.

James Hutchins was taken into custody on Saturday night after police said he became argumentative and disrespectful to members of the large crowd while "preaching" to them.

Police said he was told several times not to agitate, but he called out names like "boy" and "queer."

When a black officer approached him, he said, "What if I called you a n-----?"

The officer said when he got up close to him that Hutchins grabbed his arm and said, "What's up?"

The crowd became angry after the use of the N word, the report said.

Crowds are flocking to the location near where a shooter on Thursday morning fired multiple shots into a Marine recruiting center.
