Annual Steps To Success Gives Students Glimpse Of Professional Careers

Steps To Success is a free annual event for school students of all ages.  It will be held at Brainerd Recreation Complex, 1100 B. Moore Road on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m.

Attendees will hear local professionals from varying professions, and receive school supplies and vouchers for free haircuts and hairstyles for back-to-school.  Food and beverages are provided.  

"Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy," organizers said.

The event is sponsored by Dr. Thomas Rumph, DMD, and Solomon Williams, Virginia College.
