The Southern Conference released the full broadcast package for the upcoming 2015 football season today. The Mocs have a total of four games on ESPN3, four on the SoCon Digital Network and one more on the American Sports Network.
UTC’s first two homes games against Jacksonville State and Mars Hill are both on the SoConDN. Chattanooga’s first road game of the year is a visit to Samford on Sept. 26. That game will air on the American Sports Network (ASN) with a 3:30 p.m.
(E.D.T.) kickoff.
The Mocs stay on the road the following week at Presbyterian. That game will likely be available online on the Big South Network.
UTC’s next two games are set for ESPN3. The Mocs host Furman on Oct. 10 and visit VMI on Oct. 17. The Western Carolina game at home on Oct. 31 and the road trip to Mercer on Nov. 7 are also on ESPN3. Wofford and The Citadel will show on the SoConDN, with the Florida State game on the ACC Network.
ESPN3 is available in approximately 75 million homes to fans who receive their Internet connection from an affiliated service provider. The network is also available at no cost to 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel. ESPN3 programming is available to subscribers through Xbox LIVE and through the free WatchESPN app available on smartphones and tablets. The WatchESPN app is available through Apple TV and Roku video players.
The American Sport Network consists of commercial TV stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group and reaches close to 40 percent of all TV households in the United States with 167 stations in 77 markets. A full list of ASN affiliates will be announced each week.
