After falling behind by four runs early in the game, the Chattanooga Lookouts tied the game, but ended up losing to the Montgomery Biscuits, 8-4, in extra innings.

The Biscuits jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a two-run single by Patrick Leonard in the first and added two more runs in the second.

The opening two innings proved to be very strange indeed and took nearly two hours to play.

In the end, Montgomery out hit Chattanooga, 12-to-4. There were 17 base-on-balls in the contest - the Lookouts collected 10 to 7 for the Biscuits.

Inning-by-inning game Recap

The Lookouts started their comeback in the second when they brought nine men to the plate and scored three runs without putting a ball in play.  Biscuits' starter, Jaime Schultz, walked five men and hit a batter. His team was ahead when he was lifted for a reliever even though he had not given up a hit. The righty left the game with two outs in the inning. Mark Sappington came in to strike out Adam Brett Walker to end the threat.

Manager Brady Williams was thrown out of the game in the top of the second by third base umpire David Arrieta for arguing too strongly on a pick-off call at second base that went against the Biscuits.

Biscuit manager, Brady Williams, made sure he got his money's worth after being ejected.

Chattanooga managed to tie the game in the third inning on a Meneses RBI single.

The game finally settled down and began to move along at a much faster pace in the fourth inning as both bullpens began to pile up zeros.

Lookouts' relievers Tim Shibuya, Brandon Peterson and Jake Reed combined to throw six innings of shutout baseball to help send the game into extra-innings.

Montgomery finally got to the bullpen in the top of the 10th when they scored four runs on four hits. With the score tied, 4-4, D.J. Johnson loaded the bases, then allowed consecutive-singles. Jake DePew drew a walk to bring in the go-ahead run followed by a two-run double and an RBI single by Tommy Coyle and Dayron Varona, respectively.
